Sam is “Brother Sam’s” eldest son- another one with the “farmer” gene! Sam attended Penn State after high school. Following his college graduation, he spent 7 years in the agriculture industry outside of our farm. He had jobs in New York, Texas, and Colorado where he worked with some of the largest dairy farms in the country. His main areas of interest focus on feeding, breeding, and animal husbandry. In 2024, Sam decided to make the huge step to come back to the family business and share his wealth of knowledge. He has been working tirelessly heading up a new breeding program as well as making changes to improve our overall cow care.

Just like his grandparents, Sam’s interests span further than the farm. He also had a huge role in our newly revamped Fall Fun on the Farm festival, which kicked off in Fall of 2024. The entire Minor Family spent all of Spring & Summer 2024 brainstorming, product testing, and let’s face it, playing, in order to find the best new activities to add to our festival. Sam had a blast getting to explore all the possibilities! Now he is working on what to add next year! He also uses his analytic skills to help the financial end of the business, working diligently to ensure the family business is constantly improving.

Sam is proud to be working alongside his cousins and brother and being a part of the third generation of the family business. He is excited to see God’s plan unfold as he attempts to grow and develop what his grandparents created back in 1975.
